Insurance sales has a serious turnover rate among new sales agents, with 30 percent quitting within the first ninety days and 90 percent within three years. If you want to be successful in this career, you need to be patient as you build up your customer base. It might be helpful to start as a side job and once you’re more established transition into work as a sales agent full time.

Police Officer

Working in law enforcement can be very high stress. One of the hardest things is you will be exposed to things you wished you hadn’t including a lot of crime and witnessing the victims of these crimes. You also will have to work very irregular hours which can also lead to poor health habits. Not to mention, your actions are highly scrutinized by the media. If you want to be successful as a police officer, start by focusing on the good reasons to work in law enforcement and the benefits you can give others.
